At the season 2010 the C2 RaceCup will go on start for the first time in Germany. On 19 March 2010 at the Sachsenring the presentation of the junior class took place. Series organizer Rüdiger Seyffarth also announced a small sensation: The Magdeburg world stars Tokio Hotel will be using their own car. Also Ich + Ich-singer Adel Tawil and bandleader Helmut Zerlett are at the starting line!
We are extremely happy that Tokio Hotel has given us the promise for a car," says Rüdiger Seyffarth at the press conference at the Sachsenring, who was beaming for joy. "A Citroen C2 in the colors of Tokio Hotel will participate at the races."
This is a small partnership for Tokio Hotel. But great for us!
Tokio Hotel has also given a commitment that they will be completely present at one or two races.. In addition, we are looking for an appointment, so that the band members are also able to drive the VIP car in one or two races. At other dates there will be always a part from Tokio Hotel present.
Firmly committed to a VIP-car till now are Ich + Ich-singer Adel Tawil and Helmut Zerlett. A great success and a promising start for a junior series, which is a must for enthusiastic drivers. The cost of 35,000,- Euro for the season, plus 4.500,- Euro enrollment, are unbeatable.
