‘Humanoid’, tercer álbum en estudio de nuestros queridos post-emos no cuajó ni a nivel comercial ni en el seno de la crítica internacional. ¿Es ese fracaso un motivo suficiente para empezar a pensar en el declive definitivo de Tokio Hotel, una formación a la que, desde sus fulgurosos inicios, no se le aventuró un gran devenir? Demasiado expeditivo, demasiado artificial, ese triunfo inmediato olía extraño y emanaba un cierto olor a artificialidad.

Here we have Tokio Hotel frontman Bill Kaulitz, photographed on stage, live in Mexico yesterday. The band brought their typical rock mayhem to the Palacio de los Deportes, which sounds like as good a place as any to bring said mayhem.

Such are the fine lines in pop culture and fashion these days that when first glancing at this picture, I actually thought that Bill Kaulitz's outfit, what with its winged element, was a tribute to Miley Cyrus' "bird girl" character from her "Can't Be Tamed" video.

But in actuality, this is just how Bill Kaulitz gets down: all glam goth everything, all the time. The band head to Tokyo and the rest of Asia after they complete the Latin American leg of their current world tour as they prepare to release their best of album.

The band just released their new song, "Hurricanes and Suns," and hopefully we can look forward to some new Tokio Hotel material sometime next year. For now enjoy bird man Bill Kaulitz, above.

No one has ever seen the singer so stressed and down like today. The only thing that’s left from Bill is a shadow of his former self, when he secretly scurried into the Steakhouse “STK” in Los Angeles. A scandal for his fans, since Bill was recently voted “Sexiest Vegetarian” by the animal welfare organization “Peta”. But also celebrities criticize him. “You’re so gay”, Katy Perry agiated against him. People often attacked him in public, but this time the 21-year-old really takes it to heart. “The thing that Katy is doing is not nice, but she’s a strange person. There are a lot of shallow people in the music industry”, Bill says dolefully.
